Garret Mountain November

Garret Mountain fence
Green leaves on a twenty degree November day Glorious fall foliage A great blue heron. Not the greatest photo, I know, but I'm so excited that I was able to take a recognizable photo of one of my favorite birds Sweet gum over dredged pond (you can see the bank is very low) Yellow and brown black oak (I think) leaves Crinkly basalt (I think) white birch and speed hump long shadows time to leave

  1. Garet Mountain is fabulous.

A few days ago I read In the beauty of the Lilies by Updike. The early part of it is set in Paterson a hundred years ago.
